1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website at www.myhaloplus.com, booking a service, or otherwise engaging with hālo+, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. About hālo+ and Our Services

hālo+ is a luxury mobile massage and spa service based in Austin, Texas. We provide professional massage therapy services delivered to your home, hotel, or office by licensed massage therapists (LMTs) licensed under the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) in accordance with the Texas Massage Therapy Act (Texas Occupations Code, Chapter 455).

Our services include, but are not limited to, Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, prenatal massage, and other therapeutic bodywork modalities. All services are performed by qualified professionals and are intended for relaxation, stress relief, and general wellness purposes only.

3. Not Medical Advice

The services provided by hālo+ are not a substitute for professional medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice. Massage therapy is a complementary wellness service and does not constitute the practice of medicine, physical therapy, chiropractic care, or any other licensed healthcare profession.

Nothing on our website or communicated by our staff should be construed as medical advice. You should always consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any new wellness regimen, particularly if you have a pre-existing medical condition, are pregnant, or are recovering from an injury or surgery.

4. Health Intake and Contraindications

For your safety, you are required to disclose any relevant medical conditions, injuries, allergies, medications, or contraindications prior to your appointment. Conditions that may affect your eligibility for massage therapy include, but are not limited to, active infections, open wounds, blood clots, severe osteoporosis, certain cardiovascular conditions, and first-trimester pregnancy.

hālo+ reserves the right to decline or modify a service if our therapist determines that proceeding would pose a risk to your health or safety. In such cases, a cancellation fee may not apply at the therapist's discretion.

5. Booking and Appointments

All appointments are booked through our scheduling platform at cal.com/myhaloplus/massages. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation email or SMS from hālo+. We reserve the right to decline or reschedule bookings at our discretion.

You are responsible for ensuring that your service location is safe, accessible, and provides adequate space for the therapist to set up and perform the service. hālo+ reserves the right to cancel or terminate a session if the environment is deemed unsafe or inappropriate.

6. Cancellation and No-Show Policy

Appointments are reserved especially for you. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment will incur a fee. No-shows are charged in full.

Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in a requirement for prepayment or refusal of future bookings.

7. Payments and Pricing

Payment is due at the time of your appointment unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept all major credit and debit cards through Stripe. Prices are listed on our website and are subject to change without notice. Applicable Texas sales tax will be applied where required by law.

Gift certificates and promotional discounts (including the first-session 10% discount) are applied at the time of payment during your appointment. They are non-transferable, have no cash value, and may not be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.

8. Refund Policy

All sales are final. Refunds are issued only at the sole discretion of hālo+ and only in cases where a service was not delivered as agreed due to an error on our part. If you are dissatisfied with your service, please contact us within 48 hours of your appointment at [email protected] and we will work with you to find a fair resolution.

9. Professional Conduct

hālo+ provides professional therapeutic massage services only. Any request for sexual services or inappropriate conduct of any kind will result in the immediate termination of the session. The client will be charged the full session fee, and hālo+ reserves the right to refuse all future services and, where applicable, report the incident to law enforcement.

Our therapists have the right to end any session at any time if they feel unsafe or uncomfortable. In such cases, the full session fee will be charged.

10. Liability Limitation

By booking a service with hālo+, you acknowledge that massage therapy involves physical contact and that, as with any physical activity, there is an inherent risk of minor discomfort or injury. hālo+ and its therapists are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of our services, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

You agree to hold harmless hālo+, its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims arising out of your use of our services, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or adverse reactions, provided you disclosed all relevant health information prior to your session.

To the maximum extent permitted by Texas law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

11. SMS Messaging Program

Program name: HALO+ SMS Program

Program description: By opting in through our website, you consent to receive SMS text messages from hālo+ including appointment confirmations, reminders, follow-ups, and exclusive promotional offers.

Message frequency: Up to 4 messages per month depending on your booking activity and promotional periods.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Reply STOP to opt out. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.

Supported carriers include but are not limited to: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost Mobile, US Cellular, and MetroPCS. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, graphics, and design elements, is the property of hālo+ and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without our prior written consent.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
